The Cleveland Guardians and their faithful fans had a day to remember on Sunday, April 19. The club wrapped up the series with the Baltimore Orioles, winning three of four games to push them to 13-10 on the season. After struggles with the St. Louis Cardinals and the Atlanta Braves, it was a much-needed bounce-back series for the Guards.
Yet, the series win, as needed as it was, wasn't the only highlight on the day. In fact, it wasn't even the biggest highlight from the same game. As Jose Ramirez belted two more home runs and the team scorched their way to an 8-4 victory, the Guardians saw several more impressive feats be accomplished on this day.

1. The Cleveland Guardians extend their lead in the AL Central on Sunday
The Guardians came into Saturday's game trailing the Minnesota Twins by half a game. They left Saturday's game with a half-game lead over the Twins and the Detroit Tigers. Now, with the Guardians, Twins, and Tigers done for Sunday, the Guardians sit a half-game over the Tigers and a game and a half over the Twins. Good news for the Guards faithful, the Tigers still have one more game against the on Monday, while Cleveland starts a series with the hapless . It looks like Cleveland is poised to seperate themselves from the rest of the AL Central inch by inch.
The Guardians' win on April 19 was significant as it marked a much-needed bounce-back series, improving their record to 13-10.

One of the things that almost happened against the Orioles this week was a no-hitter on Thursday night. Parker Messick went eight innings without giving up a hit.
