Alabama offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor selected in 2026 NFL draft

Alabama Crimson Tide offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor has officially been selected in the 2026 NFL draft.

Proctor came off the board in the top half of the first round, taken with the No. 12 overall pick by the Miami Dolphins. The offensive tackle was the first Alabama player selected.

A former five-star prospect in Alabama's 2023 recruiting class, per 247Sports, Proctor came to Tuscaloosa as a Top 10 overall player nationally, and made an immediate impact with the Crimson Tide. Proctor claimed the starting spot at left tackle entering his true freshman season in Tuscaloosa, and went on to start at the position all three seasons at Alabama, doing so under both Nick Saban and Kalen DeBoer.

With the selection of Proctor on Thursday night, it now marks the third consecutive NFL draft that Alabama has had an offensive lineman drafted in the first round. Proctor joins Tyler Booker at pick No. 12 overall a year ago, as well as JC Latham at No. 7 back in 2024.

Proctor now joins a Miami team where he is the second former Alabama player currently on the Dolphins alongside of Ronnie Harrison.
