Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich implores fans to wear red for Real Madrid match

It does not take Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich much to get motivated — especially for a game against Real Madrid in the Champions League.

However, the 31-year-old wants fans to help him and his mates just a bit by enhancing the already strong home field advantage.

So what is Kimmich’s request? The Germany international wants Bayern Munich supporters to wear red to the big game on Wednesday. Check out his message below:

The game figures to be a high intensity battle between two deep and talented teams. Kimmich will play a massive role in the final outcome as he will have important roles both offensively and defensively for Bayern Munich head coach Vincent Kompany.

So, Bayern Munich fans…Kimmich is asking you to form an impromptu sea of red for the game and to create a raucous atmosphere that makes it difficult for Real Madrid’s players to function on the pitch.

All-in-all, Kimmich wants his squad to have every advantage — even psychological — that it can get.
