This offseason, the Chicago Bears made the big decision to trade away DJ Moore, sending him to the Buffalo Bills for a solid return.
But, with Moore now gone, they need to rely on Luther Burden and Rome Odunze as their main receivers. They signed Kalif Raymond, but the team could still use some WR depth as well.
That's why it's not a surprise that, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Bears are signing former Tampa Bay Buccaneers Super Bowl champion WR Scotty Miller.
Scotty Miller is a wide receiver who previously played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he won a Super Bowl.
The Bears signed Scotty Miller to bolster their wide receiver depth after trading DJ Moore to the Buffalo Bills.
Scotty Miller is expected to provide additional experience and depth to the Bears' receiving corps, which currently relies on Luther Burden and Rome Odunze.

"Bears are signing free-agent wide receiver Scotty Miller, per Drew Rosenhaus and Robert Bailey," Schefter reports.
This is an intriguing pickup for the Bears' offense, as they needed to find a way to add a more shifty receiver to this room, and Miller fits the bill.
He's 5-foot-9, 174 pounds, and while he might not be the most prolific receiver, he does have 1,216 receiving yards and six touchdowns in his career.
During the Buccaneers' Super Bowl run, he caught four passes for 80 yards and a touchdown from Tom Brady. His best season came back in 2020 during that Super Bowl run, when he caught 33 passes for 501 yards and three touchdowns.
This past season with the Steelers, Miller didn't record much production, catching just nine of 14 targets for 62 yards and no touchdowns.
He does have some experience returning kicks and punts, but his primary involvement is as a depth receiver. Giving Ben Johnson some extra weapons is always a good idea, especially someone with the experience of Miller.
Miller is an intriguing addition for the Bears, and it would not be a surprise if he saw some decent involvement this upcoming season as a third receiver behind Burden and Odunze, with the need for a shifty slot receiver in the offense.
