The Philadelphia 76ers' Daryl Morey era officially came to an end this week as theĀ 76ers fired their president of basketball operations on Tuesday.
After more than a decade as the Houston Rockets' general manager, Morey joined Philadelphia in November 2020. The Sixers were generally a disappointment under his watch, failing to reach the Eastern Conference Finals in his six seasons there despite having a perennial All-Star and league MVP to build around in Joel Embiid.
