The Kansas City Chiefs have signed a wide receiver with some of the best physical traits in the entire 2026 NFL Draft class.
How does 6-foot-5 with a 4.31-second 40-yard dash, a 42-inch vertical leap and an 11-foot-2 broad jump sound?
That's what Jeff Caldwell brings to the table.
The Chiefs signed Caldwell as an undrafted free agent from the University of Cincinnati after the draft concluded Saturday.
Clearly, Caldwell isn't perfect, or he would've gotten chosen with those traits.
But man, you can't really teach any of that stuff. The Chiefs should be able to figure out a way to make use of those.

Caldwell began his college career with three seasons at the FCS level at Lindenwood University. He made 93 catches in three seasons there, including 53 for 1,032 yards and 11 TDs in his final season.
That brought him to Cincinnati as a transfer, and he caught 32 passes for 478 yards and six touchdowns with the Bearcats in 13 games.
He was already a known commodity before the 2025 season, named to the "Freaks" list put out by The Athletic's Bruce Feldman which recognizes some of the best physical traits in college football.
Now, he'll have at least a chance to make even more noise with the Chiefs. If he gets on the field, he'll look the part. It'll just be about turning athleticism into production.
