Duke announced the return of the 6-foot-8 wing out of Oderzo, Italy on Friday, April 24.
Sarr was a key part of Duke's part Elite 8 run in 2025-26, starting in 30 of 38 games. He emerged as one of the team's best defenders, averaging 6.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.1 assists and one block per game. Sarr's season-high 19 points came against Army on Nov. 11 while he logged a season-high four triples made in the second round of the NCAA Tournament against TCU and added a season-high three assists in the Sweet 16 win over St. John's.
Sarr is one of five returners for Duke next season. Cayden Boozer, Caleb Foster, Patrick Ngongba II and Sebastian Wilkins will also be returning for the Blue Devils. The Blue Devils have lost Darren Harris and Nikolas Khamenia to the transfer portal and have brought in Drew Scharnowski and John Blackwell.
Sarr was a five-star recruit and previously played for FC Barcelona in Spain before joining Duke's top-rated 2025 class.
Duke finished its fourth season under Scheyer 35-3 overall and 17-1 in ACC play. It claimed the ACC regular season and tournament titles, making it to the Elite 8 of the 2026 NCAA Tournament for the second straight season.

Dame Sarr averaged 6.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and one block per game during the 2025-26 season.
Alongside Dame Sarr, the other returning players for Duke next season are Cayden Boozer, Caleb Foster, Patrick Ngongba II, and Sebastian Wilkins.
