The Browns selected Green and will be using him as a quarterback. The 6-foot-5, 227-pound QB is incredibly athletic and could've been utilized as a gadget player.
He ran a 4.37-second 40-yard dash and has some incredible rushing ability, going for 777 yards and eight touchdowns on 139 attempts last year for Arkansas.
But, instead of trying to turn him away from the QB position, the Browns will be keeping him at his position, which should make things a bit troubling for Gabriel in the Browns' offense.
Sanders and Watson will likely compete during the offseason for the starting job, and Gabriel was a part of that competition.
But between Todd Monken's commentary that points to Sanders and Watson being the two top QBs in competition for the starting job, and now this selection of Green, the Browns could be readying up to trade Gabriel.
With Green being the pick, Watson not being able to be traded or cut due to his contract, and Sanders coming off a Pro Bowl season (even if it's not a true Pro Bowl season), the most likely odd-man-out will be Gabriel.
