Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani is on a historic on-base streak, totaling 48 games entering the upcoming series against the Colorado Rockies.
Ohtani is sitting at No. 4 all-time in the Dodgersâ longest on-base streak leaderboard. He is behind Willie Keller at 50 games, Shawn Green at 53, and 58 games for Duke Snider in 1954.
While he is nearing the Dodgersâ record, he is still extremely far away from the MLB record, which is Ted Williamsâ of 84 games back in 1949.
Ohtaniâs streak dates back to Aug. 24, 2025, and it is based solely on the regular season with carryover for the current season. Also excluded was Wednesdayâs game against the New York Mets, as Ohtani pitched, but he did not hit.
