Duke softball gets NCAA Tournament action started on Friday, May 15, in the Durham Regional against Howard.
The No. 12 nationally seeded Blue Devils (39-14) and Bison (28-17), the champions out of the Mid-Eastern Conference, will open the NCAA regional at noon ET on ACC Network from Smith Family Stadium. Arizona and Marshall will follow, with first pitch set for 2:30 p.m. ET on ESPN+.
Friday’s winners will meet Saturday at 1 p.m., while the losers will face off at 3:30 p.m. The double-elimination regional concludes with the championship on Sunday, with the winner earning a bid to Super Regionals.
The winner of the Durham Regional advances to play the winner of the Fayetteville Regional. That regional is led by No. 5 overall seed Arkansas along with Fordham, Washington and South Florida. Duke is looking to make its fourth Super Regional appearance.
