Jaguars facing AFC South rival in London during Week 6 of NFL season

The Jacksonville Jaguars will be playing two games in London in 2026, and ahead of the official schedule release, their international opponents have officially been revealed.

Houston has not played in London since 2019, also against Jacksonville. The Texans were victorious in that game, and overall, the Jaguars are 7-7 abroad.

Both teams finished the 2025 season strong, though Jacksonville edged out Houston to win the AFC South title. Given that this game would be early in the season, it would be a huge boost for the Jaguars to win this one. It would not only give them a victory over a difficult opponent but also potentially set the tone for the rest of the season, giving the Jaguars an early edge in the 2026 AFC South standings.

Throughout the offseason, analysts have listed the Texans higher than the Jaguars in power rankings, despite Jacksonville being the reigning AFC South division champion. But not to be forgotten in what was a quiet offseason for the Jaguars is that the offense finished last season red-hot, while the defense was one of the stingiest in football.
