Chelsea were outclassed by Manchester City on Sunday afternoon but Micah Richards has stated he actually felt sorry for the Blues.

City ran out convincing 3-0 winners at Stamford Bridge thanks to second half goals from Nico OâReilly, Marc Guehi and Jeremy Doku.
The win left Chelsea outside of the Champions League places in sixth, but they are now just two points ahead of tenth placed Sunderland.
Chelsea have now lost their last three league games by a combined scored of 7-0, and havenât scored a league goal since the 4-1 win against Aston Villa on March 4th.
Not many expected the Blues to get anything from the game, but you could argue their plan worked in the first half.
However, after the break City were just able to up their levels, and Chelsea simply had no answer as they were swept aside.
It was another damaging defeat which heaped more pressure on Liam Rosenior, but Richards admitted after he felt sorry for Chelsea.
âI felt a little bit sorry for Chelsea because they had a plan,â he told The Rest Is Football.
âIt looked like the plan was working. The game opened up a little bit and then, in games, itâs all about moments, isnât it?
âAnd Chelsea donât defend in the key moment and then donât score when theyâre on top.
âAnd then Manchester City, weâre always going to take the opportunity once it comes, because they just have quality players and players who have to win, you know what I mean?â
