This past season, the Hawks finished the season with a 21-12 record and made a second round appearance in the WNIT. For the first time since 2012, Monmouth won 11 home games on the season. Cait Wetmore finished her second season as head coach.

Monmouth signed 5-foot-4 guard Kailah Correa after spending her freshman year with the University of Delaware. Last season, the Lebanon, Pennsylvania native averaged 9.8 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists a game.
Monmouth signed 6-foot forward Sanai Tyler after spending her junior season with HBCU's Bethune-Cookman in Florida. Last season, she averaged 5.3 points and 6.5 rebounds a game.
The Hawks announced that 5-foot-7 guard Vanessa McManus has committed to Monmouth. The Staten Island native averaged 15.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.3 assists for Cal Poly last season as a sophomore. She was the fifth top scorer in the Big West Conference.

After planning to enter the transfer portal, Gigi Gamble announced via social media that she's staying at Monmouth her senior year. The 5-5 transfer guard from Somerset, New Jersey averaged 15.2 points and 1.1 steals this past season. She also was selected first team All-CAA in her first season at West Long Branch.
