It’s been a tough few days for Notre Dame football going up against the Michigan Wolverines.
The two teams have been finalist for multiple prospects, with 2027 wide receiver Quinten Burrell picking the Wolverines on Wednesday. Thursday, unfortunately for the Irish, saw the same result with defensive lineman Xavier Muhammad.
The 6-foot, 5-inch and 275-pound from Texas also considered Miami, but the nation’s No. 97 overall prospect in the 247Sports Composite also chose to play in Ann Arbor. Both of these are significant recruiting losses for Notre Dame, as each of them are very good prospects.
There is some good news for the Irish, as they already have two players on the defensive line committed at the moment in Aidan O’Neil and Richie Flanigan.
