2027 offensive lineman Shavezz Dixon has named Florida State among his top five schools, alongside Georgia Tech, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, and Virginia. He praised FSU's consistency and the coaching staff's hands-on approach after multiple visits.

Florida State has been digging in with 2027 three-star offensive lineman Shavezz Dixon. After his visit in January, he spoke about how FSU was one of the schools that is standing out to him.
Last month, Dixon took another unofficial visit, and he'll be back for his official visit in June. However, Dixon is now down to five schools. Florida State made the list along with Georgia Tech, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, and Virginia, per Chad Simmons of Rivals.
When Dixon broke down his top contenders, he had this to say about the Seminoles.
“They have been one of the most consistent programs. I have been there around seven times, and I definitely like how hands-on Coach Norvell is. The whole coaching staff is great.”
Dixon is the nation's No. 519 overall player and the No. 41 interior offensive lineman per the Rivals industry rankings. The 6-foot-4, 305-pounder is the No. 57 prospect in the state of Georgia as well.
He has official visits to Virginia on May 7, Pittsburgh on May 27, and Georgia Tech on May 29 before his trip to FSU, and then he'll take his official visit to North Carolina on June 19.
