Naturally, one of the figures who has found himself facing an uncertain future at the club is Alvaro Arbeloa, the Real Madrid coach who replaced Xabi Alonso earlier in the year.
Real Madrid have shown glimpses of togetherness under Arbeloa. But they have failed to achieve anything much and are now staring at yet another trophyless season, leading many to believe that he will no longer be the coach next season.
However, according to RTVE (h/t Madrid Zone), Real Madrid have made a key decision surrounding the future of Arbeloa this summer.

The club have decided to back the Spaniard and will not fire him at the end of the season. This is despite the fact that Real Madrid have already been linked with a move for a number of other managers available in Europe.
The likes of Jurgen Klopp, Didier Deschamps and even Mauricio Pochettino are potential candidates to become the next Real Madrid coach.
However, the club have decided to continue backing Arbeloa and will give him the chance to prove himself next season.
The report adds that Real Madrid believe in Arbeloa’s project and wish to give him more time so he further influence things in the dressing room.
However, these are still early rumours and a lot may depend on how Real Madrid finish their league campaign. Los Blancos still have a game against Barcelona to play and nothing can be ruled out in football.
