Dallas Stars head coach Glen Gulutzan has a clear idea of the approach he must adopt heading into the NHL playoffs. The Texas team must work on being more direct, he explained.
During his media duties after defeating the Toronto Maple Leafs 6-5 on Monday, Gulutzan expressed satisfaction with certain aspects of his team's game, such as scoring goals from tough areas.
"That was one of the things that we talked about here, which is going into the playoffs, is, you know, we've got to be more direct, and we've got to go to harder places," he said.

Gulutzan's team will travel to play the Buffalo Sabres on Wednesday, April 15, at KeyBank Center for the final game of the regular season.
Dallas has a record of 49-20-12 for 110 points after 81 games, placing it second in the Central Division, just below Colorado (53-16-11).
