Carter Bear is showing he has the playing style and temperament to fit into the Detroit Red Wingsâ plans to become a team that is harder to play against.
The 2025 Detroit first round pick (15th overall) has been a generator of offense and an agitator for the Everett Silvertips against the Prince Albert Raiders in their WHL Final matchup. Bear added two more assists, and another layer of prickliness, Tuesday to help the Silvertips down Prince Albert 3-2 to take a 2-1 lead in their series.
Bear has racked up six goals and 15 assists for 21 points in 16 playoff games. He is also plus-21. If the Silvertips win two more games, they will head to the Memorial Cup.
