Tyson Bagent predicts Bears will win Super Bowl in 2026
There are high expectations surrounding the Chicago Bears following their impressive 2025 season, where they went from worst-to-first, won the NFC North, earned a playoff victory and quarterback Caleb Williams made strides in Ben Johnson's first season as head coach.
The sky is the limit for Johnson's team, especially on the offensive side of the football where Williams is expected to take another step with an influx of weapons including wide receivers Rome Odunze, Luther Burden III and rookie Zavion Thomas and tight ends Colston Loveland and Cole Kmet.
The Super Bowl is the ultimate goal for Johnson and his team, but how close are the Bears to actually making that dream a reality? If you ask backup quarterback Tyson Bagent -- even though it's just the offseason program -- he's feeling like this could be the year that Chicago gets it done.

"I'm not looking at anybody thinking that they don't look absolutely amazing, because if you're in the NFL and you don't look amazing without gear on, then there's a problem," Bagent said on CHGO. "A consistent thought I've had is that everybody looks great and that...we're gonna win the Super Bowl in 2026. So that's the kind of feeling that I have going on."
As Bagent said, it's easy to get lost in the optimism of practices in shorts before the real action kicks off in training camp when the pads come on. But, just as there was a feeling in that locker room during Johnson's first year, where the Bears exceeded expectations and made waves, it certainly feels like that feeling is carrying over into the 2026 season.
