Itâs been a busy â and fruitful â Thursday for Utah womenâs basketball on the transfer portal recruiting trail.
Late Thursday night, former UC Santa Barbara forward Olivia Bradley became the third Utes commitment of the day, joining Cal Baptistâs Filipa Barros and Oklahoma Stateâs Lena Girardi.
Bradley is a 6-foot-1 forward who hails from Adelaide, South Australia. She has played the past three seasons at UC Santa Barbara, but will have two years of eligibility remaining after utilizing a medical redshirt during the 2023-24 season.
Bradley earned All-Big West freshman team honors two years ago, when she averaged 5.9 points and 4.1 rebounds coming off the bench as a redshirt freshman.
Sheâs coming off a career-best season while earning Big West honorable mention honors during the 2025-26 campaign, when she averaged 13.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.3 blocks and 0.7 steals per game.
Bradley shot 48% from the floor, 28.2% from 3 and 67% from the free-throw line.
After the Utes saw forward Reese Ross enter the transfer portal ahead of her senior season and transfer to Baylor, Utah was in need of some help in the front court.
Bradley helps fill that role, and with two years of eligibility remaining, she doesnât have to do so as a one-year fill-in.
Bradley can pair nicely with another Australian talent, Chyra Evans, who is returning for Utah and is coming off a year wherein she averaged 8.2 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.
The new transfers joining Utah women's basketball are Olivia Bradley from UC Santa Barbara, Filipa Barros from Cal Baptist, and Lena Girardi from Oklahoma State.
Olivia Bradley is a forward who previously played for UC Santa Barbara before transferring to Utah.
The new transfers, including Olivia Bradley, are expected to enhance Utah's roster and contribute to the team's performance in the upcoming season.
