Each week during the school year, The News-Press and the Naples Daily News have been selecting high school girls athletes who stood out the week before based on a combination of coach reports sent to sports@news-press.com and sports@naplesnews.com and school nominations sent over email. Those athletes are put in a poll each Monday on news-press.com and naplesnews.com, and you, our readers, vote on who you think did it best. This will be the FINAL week of the Girls Athlete of the Week poll for the 2025-26 school year.
The winner of the Southwest Florida Girls Athlete of the Week poll sponsored by MY Shower Door will receive a T-shirt provided by BSN Sports and a tote bag provided by The News-Press and Naples Daily News. Voting ends at 10 a.m. Thursday each week. The winner will be announced on social media.
The previous SWFL Girls Athlete of the Week sponsored by MY Shower Door winner was Aubrey Rogers track and field athlete Brooks Lyons, who captured 51.40 percent of the vote.

Kelley Conley, North Fort Myers
Went 4 for 4 with three doubles, three RBI, and two runs scored in a 17-3 win over Gaither.
Keyah Kamara, Gulf Coast
Went the distance in the circle against Charlotte, allowing one hit, two runs, and an earned run with four walks and 15 strikeouts in a 4-2 win.
Kennedy Manetta, Estero
Was a perfect 4 for 4 at the plate with an RBI and a run scored, adding a complete game one-hitter in the circle in a 9-1 win over Hudson.
Gianni Torres, Fort Myers
Went 3 for 4 with two doubles, five RBI, and two runs scored in a 12-2 win over Mariner.
Olivia Bersh, Barron Collier
Took home eighth in the triple jump at the Class 3A state meet.
Myrica Bien-Aime, Barron Collier
Was an eighth-place finisher in the discus at the 3A meet.
Eslynda Bouzi, First Baptist
Was a sixth-place finisher in the triple jump in the Class 1A meet.

Took home eighth in the 400 at the 3A meet, also running a leg on the 4x400 team to secure sixth place.

Placed fourth in the pole vault at the Class 3A meet.

Took home third in the 3200, and fifth in the 1600 at the Class 3A meet.
Celestina Francois, Lely
Was a third-place finisher in the triple jump at the Class 3A meet.
Giovanna Molloy, North Fort Myers
Was a state runner-up in the pole vault in Class 3A.
Cheyenne Morisseau, Canterbury
Placed third in the 400-meter event at the Class 1A meet.
Cherldine Paul, Barron Collier
Was a state champion in the shot put in Class 3A.
Kiara Rakes, Gulf Coast
Placed eighth in the 800 in 3A, adding a sixth-place finish in the 4x400 relay.
Caroline Sonne, Community School
Was a sixth-place finisher in pole vault in Class 1A.
Clara Thiessen, Canterbury
Was an eighth-place finisher in the 800 meters in 1A.
Kala Valeiras, Gulf Coast
Earned four medals at state, placing eighth in the 100, fifth in the 200, fourth in the 400, and sixth in the 4x400 in 3A.

Took home seventh place in the high jump in Class 2A.
Kharisma Watkins, Evangelical Christian
Took home fourth place in the shot put in Class 1A.
