After another fun week of the high school softball season, it's time to look back on the best performances.

The sophomore second baseman went 7-for-12 with a home run, five runs scored and 11 RBIs as the Mustangs went 3-0 for the week. Bertuglia went 3-for-4 with three runs scored, a home run and six RBIs in a 20-5 win over Sparta on May 5.
The senior catcher went 11-for-14 with a home run, four runs scored and eight RBIs across three victories. Bochner went 4-for-5 with four runs scored and six RBIs in a 17-2 win over Morris Tech on May 7. Bochner has 43 hits this season after a combined 52 hits across the previous three seasons.
The senior second baseman went 6-for-11 with three runs scored and five RBIs as the Golden Eagles repeated as Morris County tournament champions for the first time in program history. Fox was the winning pitcher in the tournament final against Morris Catholic and scored the game-winning run in a 10-9 victory. Fox also earned the 150th hit of her career in the tournament final.
The junior catcher went 7-for-13 with two home runs, five runs scored and eight RBIs for the Redhawks. Inauen went 2-for-4 with two runs scored, two RBIs and a stolen base in an 11-2 win over Morris Tech on May 8.
The junior utility had five hits in 10 at-bats with six RBIs as the Wildcats reached the final of the Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex softball tournament. Lockburner went 2-for-3 and drove in three runs in a 6-4 win over North Hunterdon in the tournament semifinals on May 9.
The sophomore pitcher had five hits in six at-bats, including a home run, with three runs scored and three RBIs in wins over Sparta and Pompton Lakes. Murphy allowed one earned run across 12 innings pitched to earn her 11th and 12th wins in the circle for the season.
The nominees include players who had standout performances during the week, with Giada Bertuglia from Montville being highlighted.

The senior pitcher struck out 19 and allowed two earned runs across 11 innings in victories over Mountain Lakes and St. Elizabeth. Neuer went 6-for-8 at the plate with two home runs, three RBIs and six runs scored as the Crimson scored 28 combined runs in the two wins.
The junior third baseman went 3-for-3 with a home run, four runs scored and four RBIs in a 15-0 win over Sussex Tech on May 4. It was the third game this season where Pallay had three hits in a contest with season-bests in runs scored and runs batted in.
The senior pitcher had a home run among seven hits in 14 at-bats with three runs scored and two RBIs. Ribnicky struck out 29 across 25 innings, including a one-hit shutout against West Morris on May 5.
The junior pitcher allowed three earned runs and struck out 10 across 13 innings, earning wins for the Vikings over Mendham and Wayne Valley. Siminoff went 4-for-8 at the plate with three runs scored and three RBIs in the victories.
The senior pitcher struck out 12 and allowed two earned runs across 14 innings pitched in wins over North Warren and Randolph. Strauch has eclipsed 200 career innings pitched and has a career-best 80 strikeouts in her senior season.
