While fans, prognosticators, and experts await the highly anticipated NFL schedule release, the Philadelphia Eagles have officially moved beyond rookie minicamp and are now preparing for the next major phase of the offseason program as the organization continues building toward the 2026 season. Philadelphia originally kicked off offseason workouts on April 20 at the Jefferson Health Training Center, where head coach Nick Sirianni welcomed a roster filled with both established veterans and several high-profile newcomers. The offseason has already featured significant changes throughout the organization following the departures of key coaches such as Kevin Patullo and longtime offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland.
At the same time, general manager Howie Roseman has remained aggressive in reshaping the roster.
Philadelphia signed Jordan Davis to a three-year, $78 million contract extension while also making one of the offseason's biggest moves by acquiring pass rusher Jonathan Greenard and later handing him a massive extension as well. Several rookies and veteran additions are now beginning to learn new schemes and build chemistry with teammates ahead of training camp.
The Eagles are currently entrenched in Phase Two of the NFL offseason program, which includes on-field instruction, individual drills, and position-specific work. However, the next major step arrives soon with Phase Three and organized team activities. During Phase Three, teams are permitted to hold up to 10 OTA practices over four weeks. While live contact remains prohibited, teams can conduct 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and 11-on-11 drills, allowing coaches to begin evaluating timing, communication, and overall system implementation on both sides of the ball.

Following OTAs, Philadelphia will hold a mandatory minicamp from June 9-10 before players eventually break for the summer ahead of training camp later in July. This offseason carries enormous intrigue for Philadelphia because of both the coaching changes and roster turnover surrounding another championship-caliber core. Much of the attention over the coming weeks will focus on how the offense evolves under new coordinator Sean Mannion and how quickly the defensive additions fit into Vic Fangio's system.
